2. Custom Orders and Lead Times
- All custom work is made to order and requires a non-refundable deposit before production begins.
- Estimated production timelines will be provided after design approval but may vary depending on materials and complexity.
- Changes to your order after confirmation may result in additional charges or delays.
3. Pricing and Payment
- All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD).
- Full payment must be received before delivery or pick-up unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
- Accepted payment methods may include e-transfer, credit card, or other approved channels.
- Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified.
4. Shipping and Delivery
- We offer delivery within specific regions or through third-party carriers upon request. Shipping fees are calculated based on size, weight, and destination.
- Rough Around the Edges is not responsible for delays or damage caused by third-party shipping companies.
- You are responsible for providing accurate delivery information. Re-delivery or return fees may apply if information is incorrect.
5. Returns and Refunds
- Due to the custom nature of our work, all sales are final.
- We do not offer refunds on custom orders unless the item is defective due to our error.
- If you believe your order was damaged or defective upon arrival, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and a description of the issue.
6. Product Variations
- Wood is a natural material and will vary in color, grain, knots, and texture. These natural characteristics are not considered defects.
- Finishes and final product appearance may differ slightly from photos or samples shown online or in person.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website—including photos, designs, text, and branding—is the property of Rough Around the Edges and may not be used, copied, or distributed without written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
Rough Around the Edges is not liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our services or products
- Any harm resulting from improper use, installation, or maintenance of the item after delivery
- Delays beyond our control, including supplier shortages or shipping interruptions
